-- Wal-Mart seeking its own bank, "The world's largest retailer will ask the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC) Monday for permission to open a bank that can process millions of checks and credit-card payments each month." -- This boring headline is written for Google, truly the art of advertising to a new level. -- H&R Block diversifies into troubled waters, "Spitzer charged Block last month with selling low- and moderate-income customers IRAs that charged more in fees than they generated in interest, saying thousands of customers ended up losing money." -- Pre-paid funerals – worth the price?, Death and taxes are the only sure thing in the world, so read the fine print on prepaying for death! -- For many car hunters today, leasing's the way to go, Before financing ANY vehicle, talk with your financial institution (NOT THE DELEARSHIP) and find out if there are any promotions or special financing loans, like balloon payments and low payments.
