"Monster." It has disgusted me how the movie, "Monster," could be an Oscar-contender. I hate hearing how "great" Charlize Theron played the part of serial killer Aileen Wuornos. The whole project sickens me. I know there are murderers out there killing to get attention from Hollywood.
The movie is the typical, glossy Hollywood version of the truth.
Women, like men, sometimes kill for the thrill. I completely concur with columnist Sue Russell, "It perpetuates the comforting yet erroneous belief that women only kill when provoked by abuse."
It is incredibly sexist that Hollywood won't give similar treatment to Scott Peterson in that fictionalized movie with fictitous characters portrayed as HIS friends. Sunshine - Walking on Sunshine -
