Walking on sunshine. Always tacky.

Our New Year's Eve party was a blast! Paul, Pat and their kids came over about 7:30 and didn't leave until nearly 2 a.m. Their son is just a few months older than our kids, so my stepson was quite satisfied with our company. Their two daughters kept Munchkin busy!

We ate and ate and ate. There were chips, dips, a huge veggie tray, a cracker tray, shrimp, crab, Jeno's pizza rolls, bean dip, homemade Chex mix, bagels pieces for a cheese and bacon fondue, a chocolate fondue, bite-size smoky links, an 8lb. Honeybaked ham and a huge bowl of (unspiked) punch. Pat made some cheesy potatos and bacon-wrapped water chestnuts. YUM!

Midnight rolled around and we toasted each other with sparkling raspberry juice in REAL crystal goblets. The kids were so careful, and none were broken.

The evening was quite enjoyable for everyone. In fact, the kids and my husband are still sleeping.

Welcome, 2004!
