Walking on sunshine. Always tacky.

Headlines like, "Study: Frequent Drinking Can Help Heart," make me angry.

Buried deep within the story is a point that should have been in the FIRST paragraph, NOT the second to last: this was "analyzed data from Harvard's long-term Health Professionals Follow-Up Study" and ONLY included "male health professionals."

WAIT A SECOND! Why isn't that specific criteria considered important?

I know waaaaaaay too many people who will never hear or read that the analyzed data was ONLY on men in the health care field. The 30-second blurb on the news won't stress that "tidbit." Those in the study are people who HAVE access to health care, unlike many uninsured Americans.

This is about as newsworthy as a study with the finding: "Frequent Drinking Can Lead to Alcoholism."

As FARKers would say for something so asinine, "Still no cure for cancer."
