Well, it's OFFICIAL: C is out of private school and back in the "cesspool" called Public School.

Time for him and his mother to eat a little crow, since they have been the BIGGEST bashers of public school education. Oh yes, they were complete snobs. She has tried to insult me and C has often tried to put down K for her education, but funny thing is, they are in the same grade and, minus religion, have covered nearly the same subjects and gotten close to the same grades! As for morality, that school was right on par with the rest of the nation for teen pregnancy, but far below for post-education, like college enrollment. They were not accredited by the state, so their students had to take additional tests to get into college.

In case you might have missed the national news report, R's X has again given her temporary blessing to public school and we are no longer terrible people raising stupid, out-of-control monsters, products of the public school system. Oh, yes, that pedestal has collapsed. (Conveniently forgotten is the fact that R's X only attended public school!)

Guess it's OK to use public school when parochial is "too inconvenient." You know, the high cost and time spent transporting, the time she was expected to volunteer to the school, but never did, unless it was a fun field trip. Hmmm... now public school parents aren't so lazy and cheap after all!

Now public school kids aren't so dumb after all.
Now public school kids aren't so immoral after all.
Now public school accreditation for later college/university enrollment is important.

Aren't you glad you got this Public Service Announcement? **snicker**
