WOW! My head is throbbing from Rick's news today.
The company that bought out his workplace laid off 10 people today in his shop without any warning at all. They also completely ended the afternoon shift...a few of those guys will be moving to Rick's shift. (these were done only in the name of MORE profits, the company is far far far from losing money!)
It looks like tomorrow, with all the shift-arounds started today, Rick might have a new job title...a demotion, due only to seniority. With the demotion, of course, comes the pay cut.
